The Shevlins

Elizabeth visited her relatives in San Diego and had a wonderful time at brunch where she saw Father Joe Carroll's nativity sets. Her grandma and grandpa love her so as you can see! We also enjoyed touring the Midway aircraft carrier with Great-granparents Shevlin and Hofer two days later. It was a beautiful day and Daddy enjoyed seeing the operating room on the aircraft carrier.

Bath time in Ventura

While with the family for Thanksgiving, Elizabeth was treated to a bath in Aunt Laura's sink. Doesn't she look cozy (and chubby!). Check out the video of her enjoying the bath - warning, it is a little long and there is nudity:)

New Friends

Here, Lizzie is having a leisurely stroll with her new friend Aiden (as you can see, we are trying different nicknames). Tara, one of the residents in Christina's program, had Aiden just 3 days before Elizabeth was born. An older man!! They met a few weeks earlier at a residency retreat.

Family Time in San Diego

A pre-Thanksgiving weekend in San Diego gave Gidget (yep, another nickname option) some quality time with the family. Uncle Joe and Aunt Viana shared some delicious mexican food. Great-grandmother Rother cozied up with the little lady. Look who else got up close and personal. Madison gave Elizabeth a big kiss! SMACK!

Choir baby

The Alto section of Christina's church choir is happy to have a new member. Look closely to see Elizabeth quietly learning her part while resting on Mommy's lap.

Coffee house cutie

Whenever Elizabeth gets grumpy at home, we just run over to the local coffee house and she magically calms down. She just loves to listen to that coffee grinder hum - she must get that from Daddy:) Gotta love those crazy parent tricks to soothe a baby!

Happy Family

Look how sweet Jackson is to the baby! One big happy family:) Look, he even cuddled with Aunt Jacklyn... he's like a new kitty.

Aunt Laura and Grandpa Hofer

As you can see, Auntie Laura is loving her niece. As comfortable as Elizabeth seems, the feeling appears to be mutual:) We had a lovely lunch at The Cannery in Newport Beach and relaxed in Laguna at Great-Grandpa's while Daddy stopped by quickly while on call (don't tell anyone at his job!)

"Uncle" Josh stops by

Jason's long-time friend Josh came by to admire the little lady. With his help, Elizabeth experienced her first barbeque. That tri-tip was almost as big as she is!

After an exciting Halloween evening, we relaxed at our neighbors Jeff and Cheryl's house. Don't they look comfy with Elizabeth... they are next!:)
