Although we had no trick-or-treaters this year (maybe our jack-o-lantern scared them away), Elizabeth got in the spirit with her cute outfit.

More pictures
Family picture time! Too bad Mommy look so tired (I think it is actually red-eye reduction blue around the eyes causing the effect -- but let's face it, she's not sleeping much). At least Elizabeth, Dad, and Jackson look good:) Also, check out the little princess snoozing in her pink (her favorite color by the way) sleeper. We just love her so much!

More visitors
Admirers of Elizabeth sometimes travel great distances to see her. Christina's friend Carlin came from Seattle to see the little darling:) Carlin will be finishing her residency in Internal Medicine and then do a fellowship in Sports Medicine. We are trying to convince her to return to Southern California -- hopefully Elizabeth can persuade her (you can see they were in deep discussion). We all had a great lunch and were sad to say farewell to Carlin.
Grandma and Aunt Jacklyn also travelled to see Elizabeth again. They came down for some fun girl time while Jason was back on call at the hospital. Elizabeth (with entourage in tow) prowled the malls of Orange County in search of the perfect outfit --- of course she found it!

Hanging out with friends
Back in Orange County, it was Emily and Pam's turn to meet the little lady. They are great friends of Christina and were entertained by Elizabeth's many activities (eating, sleeping, crying, and pooping). Don't you wish you were here? - of course you do!

First Big Outing
Saturday was a big day for the Hofer Family. This was Elizabeth's first trip to San Diego. She enjoyed a delicious lunch at Fuddruckers and met the rest of the Shevlin family (Don't worry, everyone used hand sanitizer provided by Grandma before holding the baby).
Look how comfortable Great-Grandpa is with Elizabeth.... maybe that is where Grandpa got his "baby whisperer" abilities from. Great-Grandma looks pretty cozy herself.

Grandma visits the active baby
This week has been a bit busier with Jason being back at work. However, Grandma has been staying with us to help out -- such a blessing! Don't they look comfy! Elizabeth has been more active this week, which we of course had to capture. See the little movie of her just looking at Mommy - could there be a video that is more exciting?!

Day 5
Big day today. Elizabeth had her first pediatrician appointment. Getting out of the house with a newborn is something else! Christina didn't get enough breakfast and Jason didn't have coffee -- so you can imagine the mood as we checked into the clinic:) Fortunately, our doctor was great and we got the good news that Elizabeth had been gaining weight and looked healthy. Check her out sticking her tongue out in the car seat. Feeling better, we headed over to visit Christina's friend Leah who is a mother of two for some advice and support. Her daugther Lacy loved Elizabeth as you can see. After our visit we headed to Babies R' Us (Jason thought he was done with this place, but found out otherwise) for some baby supplies and then home. It was quite a long day for both Elizabeth and the new (sleep deprived) parents!

Day 4
Last night was our first night home--not a lot of sleep as Elizabeth was so excited to be home that she stayed up nearly the entire night! Jason got a crash course in changing diapers (he swears he can do it in his sleep now) and Christina found out just how much a baby can eat! During the day both Elizabeth and parents lounged around the house and relaxed.
