Saturday 8/23/08 marks Elizabeth's first trip up stairs at Grammie T's house- the fun begins now:)

Of course Elizabeth had an amazing time at the zoo! Every animal was another "Jackson," and her squealing scared a few of the animals (as well as some of the more timid kids)../

No, baby, you are supposed to feed the giraffe the food - not eat it!

First Word?

In the long-lived tradition of teaching "mama" and "dada", we worked with Elizabeth and waited to see which would be her first word. She has been babbling for a long time, but finally came out with a real word! Who does she love the most? Check the video below to find out:)

Hanging out at home

Although it always seems like we are on the go and having great adventures, we do like to hang out at home and enjoy the weekend...

Daddy is so excited that Elizabeth seems to love baseball as much as he does! Doesn't she look cute it her outfit from Alaska (it has a picture of a fish on it and says "This one's a keeper!").

Any day now, she is going to race away! Just yesterday, she stood by herself for a few moments like it was no big deal (Daddy and Mommy were the ones squealing this time:)). Here is a clip of how she is improving using the walker.

New Favorite Toy

Look at her go with her new favorite toy. Almost walking. The fun is about to begin! We decided to get this toy after seeing her friend, Aiden (see below) running down the hall with his. Elizabeth has a more conservative approach - she looks a little like an old lady with her walker. We love this angel so much!

Hppy 4th!

Elizabeth loved the fireworks on the 4th! Good thing we weren't in Newport Beach or she may have gotten a ticket like her Daddy did a couple years ago:)
