Pool party

Swimming with friends is always fun...

When it ends with icecream sandwiches, it's even better!!

Who looks cooler?

Who rocks the wrap-around sunglasses? close call between Ellie and her Grandpa ho-Ho

cute!
cuter?!

Hi Josh

Who's that in Elizabeth's house?

It's Josh! Elizabeth has fun with daddy's friend. She is such a good hostess:)
Yeah right!! Silly Josh!

Funny pants

All of a sudden, Elizabeth comes running out of her room with her MONKEY PANTS and PRINCESS SHOES which needed to be worn immediately, of course! She then proceeded to run around, dragging two belts around behind her. Just another day in the life of a 21 month old:)

I love this girl!

Another magical smile captured mid-sprint across the waiting room while waiting for Mommy's new tire (ran over a screw 4th of July weekend)

What a crazy little lady who amazes us everyday with her personality and humor

Happy 4th of July

Don't you wish you were here.... Beautiful Laguna on Independence Day. We are blessed to be able to experience this
Which family portrait do you like better?

I like this one where Elizabeth is smiling at her Daddy

Still loves dogs

No question that Elizabeth still loves her Dowjees (doggies). They seem to love her right back:) Swimmin' with Madison and her crew

Sitting on the doggies' chair while relaxing in the evening and her grandparents' house.

Here are more pics of the fun time.

Happy mom-to-be with her beautiful cake created by Grandma Shevlin

There was a great water area near the picnic area
At the lake, Elizabeth also enjoyed feeding the ducks with her Aunt Jack

...and feeding herself:)

Baby shower for cousin-to-be

Elizabeth is eager to meet her new cousin, Gavin - he is due to be here early August. We had a wonderful time at Santee Lakes honoring her Aunt V and Uncle Joe

Before Gavin gets his stroller, Ellie wanted to make sure it was safe...she tried it out for him.

Comfy

Although, I hope he won't be riding in that compartment for a while, yet.

Father's Day at the beach

Everyone worked hard to make a fun pool for Elizabeth. Aunt Laura splashed around while Uncle Morgan helped make the beach break bigger. Mom relaxed in the shade - Grandpa Ho-Ho was in charge:)

These girls sure have "Cheese" down pat!

Riding in style back to Gramps' house in Laguna

Happy Father's Day 2009!

What a girl wants

When our little lady wants something....

Hey! I want the flag

It belongs to her good friend Jack

That didn't last long.

She got it! Jack was such a nice guy for letting Elizabeth have his flag. Now, where would we ever get such an opinionated bossy girl?! I have no idea:)

I LOVE GOLF

Learning the basics, Elizabeth started golfing with Dad this week

Time with Daddy

Spending a little quality time with her favorite person. Listen to our little smartie count to three before the swing. I think Jason has a new golfing partner:)

Drum

Many uses for the bright red sandbox including drumming her own rhythm.

More fun with friends

We had some fun with another one of Elizabeth's friends Jack last weekend.
We, of course, didn't think of taking pictures until she was all wrapped up in the blanket, but Elizabeth had lots of fun swimming with Jack. She showed off all her new skills learned in our weekly swim lessons. We are so proud!

Oh Jack! Big hugs after playing in the backyard with all the fun toys.

Fun and Silly

Thanks, Pop! for the great idea of putting more than one pacifier in my mouth at one time!

A fun afternoon with John-John included playing the piano(check out the video below),

Eating and/or wearing DELICIOUS ice cream sandwiches
And squishing MOMMY! Elizabeth sure loves these fun days with her friend. Mom has a great time too:)

Piano lessons

They are just learning, but it sounds great to me!

Ellie's first haircut

At the ripe old age of 19 months, Elizabeth had her first haircut. She didn't mind it as much as I would have guessed. The Elmo video and "car" seat helped to keep her mind off of the sharp scissors circling her head...

Doesn't she look pretty!!

After dinner drink

Daddy caught his ladies relaxing at the end of the long day with a cool drink. AHHH - the good life:)

Playin' in the park

Elizabeth had a great time playing in the park with her Aunt Jacklyn and Laura and Grandpa Ho-Ho

I LOVE DADDY

Happy Birthday to Daddy - Elizabeth's favorite person!

Gearing up for the Dodgers game on Jason's birthday

Grandpa Mike (a Padres fan) gave Grandpa Ho-Ho (a Dodgers fan) a Padres jersey as a gift...which was subsequently sacrificed in a pre-game ritual before Dodgers-Padres game...

Clownin' around

Beat the Padres!

Ventura Harbor

Elizabeth loves riding on the carousel, whether its in Fashion Island or Ventura Harbor

Air Hockey with Aunt Jacklyn (or "Jack" as Elizabeth calls her)
